Mark Adams

Mark Adams is the chef and co-owner of Ricardo’s. He is a self-taught chef and is proud of everything he has learned through his career. He began at Howard Johnsons in Kirkwood, MO at age 15 and ended up at Salvatore’s Restaurant which he eventually bought.

Marks second passion is Coaching springboard diving for several private high schools. He is married to co-owner Michelle Adams and has 2 sons, Tim and Tom. Mark and Michelle have been happily married for over 25 years.

Michelle Adams

Michelle Adams is co-owner of Ricardo’s. Michelle and her husband, Ricardo’s chef, Mark have owned the restaurant for 21 years. Michelle began her career in Medical management but was quickly persuaded to join her husband.

They have 2 children, Tim and Tom, and two beautiful Cairn Terrier puppies, Riley and Baxter.

Michelle is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and a Certified Specialist of Wine through the Society of Wine Educators.

Tim Adams

Tim Adams is the oldest son of owners Mark and Michelle Adams. Tim is a graduate of St. Louis University College in St. Louis, MO and the French Culinary Institute in New York. Tim began working at the restaurant when he was a freshman at St. John Vianney high school. He began as a busboy but quickly moved into the kitchen.

Tim currently lives in Chicago, Ill and is continuing his culinary career in the kitchens of Spiaggia restaurant on Michigan Avenue.  His favorite dish is Chicken Parmigiana. His dream is to open his own Italian restaurant.

Thomas Adams

Tom Adams is the youngest son of owner Mark and Michelle Adams. He was born 9 months after Ricardo’s opened. Tom is a Junior at Rockhurst University in KC. He is majoring in business management with a minor in theater arts. He fills in at the restaurant when he is in town from college.

His favorite dish on the menu is the Chicken Spedini. He is an awesome singer and actor. Tom hopes to open his own restaurant some day.
